Triple Blended Coffee Beans

Products

Megan loved going for a coffee run so it was no surprise that she loved the idea of developing a coffee blend where the proceeds could go towards helping end childhood cancer. In June of 2021, we met over breakfast at Whistle Stop to get the ball rolling. Since Megan preferred light roast, we worked with the students at North Central College to develop a blend that was perfect for light roast fans like Megan, but was also excellent as a medium and dark roast.

Megan's Mission Blend (12 oz):

A balanced blend of Costa Rican and our signature Guatemalan coffee.

Guatemala:

Our signature product, 100% single origin Arabica coffee sourced from the Atitlán region of Guatemala. Shade grown in rich volcanic soil, our coffee is produced and harvested at an ideal altitude of 5,200-6,000 ft. Roasted at a light, medium, or dark level, this coffee has tasting notes of cocoa, citrus, peach, berries, slight floral, and caramel.

Costa Rica:

Producers: Jonathan Jost & Marianella Baez Jost

Location: Cañuelas de Naranjo, West Valley, Costa Rica

Size: 5.5 Hectares

Altitude: 1300-1400 masl

Café Con Amor is a high-altitude farm in the mountains of Costa Rica, grown in rich soil under the share of many tropical trees. The volcanic soil is perfect for growing Caturra and Villa Sarchi varieties of specialty coffee. Orange, mango, níspero, guaba, lemon, guayaba and sweet plantains add rich organic material that transfer to the aroma, complexity and rich notes of this specialty coffee. The final product is a clean cup with a smooth honey sweetness, citrus tones, and balanced acidity.
